Final Destination 5

- possible spoiler alert -

Okay i saw the fifth installment of the franchise and am now to judge how good it was conpared to the others. First off the movie was one of the best. the death scenes were creative and not as over done as some in the fourth movie. The ending was the best in the whole franchise by far. I did not see it coming how it went out and it was amazing. the vision scene was kinda overkill again and unrealistic, but it was just a vision and we used to see that unreal stuff that everything is just doomed to go wrong i guess. the characters weren't boring, because like in FD3 there was one guy who kinda gets a bit insane, which i liked in this one. The returning of the coroner was a really good plot point, especially with the twist in the end. all in all the series really got back to its roots and brought back cool element we were missing out at least in the fourth movie. And the good things of the fourth movie, the extreme long waiting for some kills and the graphic comic like element of the kills stayed in the fifth movie. it's like they learnt their mistake and came back to what the series was like. A very great movie.

Most Epic McDonald's Story Ever

WHAT THE FUCK Moment gestört.

127 Hours

If a movie nominated deserves the oscar, it is this movie. I havn't seen the other movies, but i pretty much dislike the movies made by the best well-known directors and the most expensive films. 127 Hours was a simple movie, and a good one. Innovative and although it was located nearly only on one place not boring at any moment. Badly the ending was spoiled for me, but still it managed to capture me, one of the few movies i actually care for the main character and not hate him. I would watch it in german theaters again, but there are two main problems, the first one is that the movie is probably not as cool in german. I saw the trailer and the voice was just funny, and it is not supposed to be funny at all. And the second problem is that the movie was rated FSK 12. I cannot believe that this R Rated movie gets rated 12 in germany without being heavily censored. I mean most R-Rated movies get censored and then still are FSK 18 or even Spio JK on DVD if not banned. But this is no horrormovie but drama, so it may not be that bad. And yet there is not much to cut out, only that it still ruins the whole shape of the movie.

lullaby of hell

Fall, fall, fall to the bottom of hell,
pool of blood, sea of fire, and needle mountains.
Fall man to hell, fall, fall, demons of hell are calling you,
pool of blood, sea of fire, and needle mountains.
Can't you hear the groan of the dead?
Fall, fall, the darkness of hell is boundless,
pool of blood, sea of fire, and needle mountains.

Half a year ago my girlfriend of that time told me i look like the guy in Zombieland, i saw it and thought nah okay maybe a bit. Saw VII Reviews

WITHOUT MAJOR SPOILERS AKA THINGS YOU SAW IN TRAILERS BEFORE ARE MENTIONED:
Ok all in all it's a lot different then what i heard i heard spoilers that were not really true at all. I was pretty afraid of the movie, but it turned out great for several reasons i cannot state without giving things away. The public trap was in fact not that great and it is kinda sad that there were no flashbacks of the other survivors, which was kinda sad. John was not really in the movie, he could have made the movie perfect if there were more flashbacks of him, but sadly there wasn't. The traps were awesome, but felt rushed kinda and yeah they were huge, but i think it was alright. Bobby's storyline felt kinda awkward, because there were no real flashbacks explaining stuff and the other victims felt random, but i have to admit i felt sorry for Bobby, that was made great i liked his character a lot and while watching the traps my heart was bumping and i hoped for some victims to survive and when a person died or survived it always got me. I heard a lot of spoilers pointing out the bad things and i had such a low expectation that it didnt seem bad at all. The cops were all over the place and it felt kinda strange them running around like lemmings, but still it was good. Although i have to admit its a saw film so after seeing the movie 5 or 10 times my views on it can change. If they make a directors cut with more John stuff and longer traps this movie will be a lot better. But even without it is not really bad either. Another thing is there was not really a twist, but the ending still was shocking i think.

SPOILER REVIEW:
Ok if you have not seen the movie, please do not read further unless you are not a saw fan anyways and just read this for fun, but reading this will ruin a lot of movie experience.

Ok the movie starts with Dr.G crawling out the bathroom, that scene was kinda cool. The public trap wasn't really good, but not that bad either, like a standard opening trap it felt like. In my crappy version the gore looked stupid though. Jill's trap... i'm still angry about it, one thing that was spoiled for me was that it was her nightmare and it made me angry before watching the movie, because a trap feels so random, it was only there for the sake of gore and for the sake of showing it. While watching the movie it grew on me though, because it made clear why Jill was such a crybaby in the movie. Her character arc made a 180 degree turn from that point. In Saw V mysterious to Saw VI becomming kickass to Saw VII being the total victim. On the other side Hoffman showed us what kickass character he is. The whole thing with him getting to Jill Tuck was epic and his way of killing her was great too. Some people think this movie is not a real saw movie because the trap seemed so random and so many people died, just for Hoffman to get what he wants, but i think that is exactly what Saw VI lead us to. It would have been cooler if Hoffman got shot by the police on the way outside the station, because it seemed knda dumb that no police man thought about going to that police station and looking whats wrong. Instead showing the survivors get him was great though. They made clear that all the survivors learned from the traps and in seeing Hoffman as just a murderer they REALLY completed John's legacy. The survivors get Hoffman and make him suffer for what he has done. It was not only Gordon. Gordon is not an apprentice either, they will most likely not test anyone, they are happy they got the opportunity to change there life, so did Gordon, and locking Hoffman up ends the series. BTW bringing the bathroom back was the best thing in the whole film. I wanted it for so many years now it was great to see Dr. Gordon's rotted foot. I think seeing the bathroom would have been kinda twist like for me if it wasnt spoiled ONE freaking day before i finally saw it :( i really hope you guys didn't got the bathroom spoiled. Dr.G helping wasnt a big spoiler though and i was happy i got it spoiled, cause i was so afraid they make him an apprentice, but in the end it seemed more like a little helper for me and more of a symbol for the survivor group. The traps in all were great i will rate them here now:
Public Trap: 4/10. The idea wasn't too bad and it kinda shows the concept of Saw VII, which is publicity in a way.
Jill's Trap: 6/10 (9/10 if it was real)
Garage Trap: 8/10. This was one epic trap, sadly it was too short, they could have made a lot more of it.
Lawnmowertrap: 7/10. The thing is that we saw nothing, it's left to our imagination i kinda liked that, i still hope they expend it in the director's cut though
1. The Hanging Cage: 6/10. nice easy concept. Only Bobby alone and no random victim.
2. The Dentist Chair: 6/10. Nice trap, not outstanding but was nice.
3. The Wheel: 8/10. I am not sure why but it made me feel for the victim i was sitting here and it was one hell of a time because i really thought this time the victim could survive, in the end it was at least a nice death scene. Sadly i understood one scene first the wrong way. When the police arrived at the scene the hear Bobby scream and i thought this victim was still alive and not that they reacted to Bobby.
4. Pulling teeth: 5/10 Not really a trap, but kinda nice scene, although it was random
5. The Blindfolded: 4/10 I didnt like this trap really much.
6. Bobby's Final Test: 9/10 This trap was awesome. It is sad that Joyce died, but it is so ironic that he had to test himself in his own test and he was so kept in that thought that he didn't consider trying to get up another wayinstead of putting the hooks inside his muscles. And at the end he failed his test, which was kinda sad, because i would have liked to see a happy end for him and Joyce.
Reverse Bear Trap: 9/10 Yeah we all wanted to see him, it's kinda random they used it in VI and VII now, but still it was great, because now every apprentice was in that trap, although of course there is a difference, Jill was just executed and i think she was so afraid that she lost her survival instinct, too.

So where can we go from here?

MASSIVE SAW VII SPOILERS AHEAD

The Jill gets torn apart clip made me think of several things. They wouldn't show it if it's the last scene of the movie. Also Betsy had not that much time on set if im not mistaken. We thought Hoffman against Jill may be the general topic of the movie, but there we have Dr. G. Lawrence and Hoffman are no friends is what they said, so the story may begin with Hoffman getting his revenge on Jill in like the first 30 minutes of the movie and continue with Lawrence against him. It actually makes sense. also they said they had the idea to make two movies instead of this one. That means the general story could have been like Saw V and Saw VI. In V it's all about Strahm and Hoffman, VII would have been Jill against Hoffman but they made the story shorter and the original end with the death of Jill comes earlier and is no twist at all more a start for the actual story. Like that it doesnt need to be a dream sequence or anything it is just what happens. Remember when we thought Saw IV would be all about Jeff's new game? The Saw Crew surprised us with something epic and thats what happened again. I still hope Jigsaw will have a plan for Hoffman so he won't come to far though, cause yeah he has to die.

Saw Chronology-Cuts

Ok now i have two fan-edits for the chronologycut for Saw. One is complete with the first 6 movies and one is yet only the beginning till the end of Saw I. In this post i will compare the two Cuts in style and scenes they used. To compare the versions, I will only use the first 2 dvds from JB, since they also end with the last bathroom scene.

The Jigsaw Files: 1 DVD - 140 minutes
JB's Cut (first 2 parts): 2 DVDs - 150 minutes

Both movies have a DVD title screen and different scene selections.

The Intro
JB: JB's Cut starts with the lionsgate and twisted pictures titles followed by the producer notes and directors. First screen is from Saw I, then II, then III (so not every single screen, but one from each movie). After that we see all title screens and then the real movie starts. (01:48)
First Scenes: JB starts with flashes of Hoffman and his sister, Jill Tuck in the park, Hoffman at the crime scene of his sister, Rigg's backstory at the school followed by the death of Dylan. After that we see the scene of John meeting William at the party without interruption as it is in the TJF version. (05:51)

TJF: The movie starts with a 3 second long scene, where adam is kidnapped. Then we see producer notes, but not from the original movie, but from the Fan Edited website. those two scenes are also outside the movie in VLC, those 23 seconds i will not count in this notes for easier finding in the movie itself. After the notes we see a biblic quote (Matthew 16:25) to introduce the movie. then we see different producer notes, this time with fitting melody and a nice saw style to it. between the notes we see several scenes:
Bobby falling of the table, John sitting desperately in a chair, John lifting Bobby up, John meeting William on the party (with little flashs of John in his lair, mostly to fit the audio). After that scene we see the title screen "The Jigsaw Files"

After John met William
JB: John and Jill meet at house he bought with the clock, when John lifts up Bobby it flashes to William meeting Harold, who puts his complaint on the table. (07:58) Now it starts where TJF start now too: in the Clinic with Cecil getting aggressive. It follows the whole story with Jill losing Gideon. (12:38)
TJF: After Cecil got aggressive we get to see the clock scene in Jigsaw's lair, both chronological orders seem logical for me although they differ in the two versions. After Bobby is shown it continues with Jill's story, but it is shortened a bit. (ex. Cecil and Amanda in the car) The Cherish your Life scene becomes a flashback when John is in the hospital. (o7:08)

After Gideon died
Both Versions continue with Art Blank meeting up with John and Jill (14:21/08:50) and both versions follow with John in the hospital (changes in sound (see note) and style) and then meeting with William talking about his cancer followed by John driving his car off the cliff. (note: The JB version features John's voice like in the flashbacks for a better understanding and TJF version features music for a better athmosphere). Both version continue with Cecil being captured and tested. (24:39/18:50)
Now comes a major difference: TJF adds Rigg in the school, which was featured in JB right in the beginning. This scene might be worth a later discussion. (20:38)
After that scene it continues the same as JB's version again. Jill meets John in his lair and she finds the pictures of cecil and the glass coffin. After that we have the pendulum scene in both versions with everything connected to that scene (Hoffman investigating, getting captured by Jigsaw, Shotgunchair) No major differences. (42:26/36:56)

Hoffman is recruited
Both versions continue in the storyline with Paul being tested, Mark being tested and Amanda being tested. The major difference is that JB first showed every trap and then the police investigation and TJF show the traps still as flashbacks. TJF also show Amanda and Cecil driving in the car as a blurry flashback that Amanda has while she is getting high. JB stays in the chronological order and TJF orientates on the chronological order but makes differences to make it story fitting. Amanda meets Jigsaw and is recruited at (59:51/54:56)

Amanda is recruited
Tapp and Sing find the location and the scene with the drill chair and the shotgun chair happens. No major differences (1:10:08/1:04:52).
Now again a major difference: TJF feature the "rockstar scene", which is not featured in JB's cut since it's a deleted scene. It is followed by another major difference. JB shows Tapp in his lair and TJF shows Gordon saying good night to his daughter. Since Adam took pictures of Gordon leaving the house, i think its reasonable that Tapp was in the house in fact before Zep started kidnapping. JB also features the scene with Amanda and John ("every cell in your body") before Diana wakes up. (1:11:52/1:05:58)
The story follows in both versions with the kidnap scenes. the cell in your body scene is in TJF right before Adam gets kidnapped. After the kidnap scenes the bathroom scene from Saw III ends at (1:30:52 (end DVD I)/ 1:23:12)

The Bathroom
Now both versions continue with the bathroom. The first flashback when Gordon starts telling the story was cut out in both versions at (15:24/1:36:50).
The first major difference is when Adam finds the note and the picture of Diana and Alison. TJF show how Zep treats them right afterwards and shows Tapp looking at him out of the window. The storyline of the bathroom has no major differences afterwards and is similar to the original movie. In the end of the movie both versions leave the flashbacks in with the key in the bathtub and with the victim flashes. the Jigsaw files adds flashbacks from the other saw movies into the fast process that were seen before too. John closes the door at (54:35/2:17:33).

The End
TJF show right with the screaming the credits. A few kind words and producer notes as credits with the actors, writers etc. After a coming soon screen we see Amanda entering the bathroom killing Adam ending with a screen "The Jigsaw Files II"
JB's second DVD doesn't end at the door closing part. It features Amanda's dream and then her killing Adam and stops then without credits since they are featured at the very end of all dvds.

And What version shall I watch now?
Both versions are highly recommended for different reasons.

JB's version has every single scene in the movie at the right place with a great edited style. For fans a must since it shws the timeline perfectly. TJF are different. They are oriented on the timeline, but leave parts out to make it look like a movie and not just like a timeline. TJF may be more rewatchable, but not as accurate. And vice versa for JB's version. If i had to rate both version, both would get an A with 10 million stars, because it is just awesome. I really hope when Saw VII comes out that both versions will get an update to be completed.

Second Month

I love you more than i hate the distance between us

Two Months;
And only One Month waiting to see you again. The flight is booked and the trips are being planned. In exactly 4 weeks you will be exiting your plane and hug your boyfriend while leaving the terminal behind. Those 3 months we weren't able to feel and touch each other are long and now we have finished only two-thirds of that long time. But when the time finally has come, it shall be that intense that we don't look back on the waiting and only think that it was worth it.

Last month i wrote about the moments we had and now i will write about the times we will have in one month. Next month we will not only see each other finally again, but in the same few days you have birthday and we are together for three months. I thought about a few things, but havn't really thought everything out, yet and need to plan what exactly i'm about to do with you that day. We will finally go and eat at the Comix. We wanted to go there in december already, but we went there the day it was closed and didn't manage to there there on another day. We also planned to watch a lot of movies like Battle Royale, the detroit metal city movie, repo, wall-e, memento and stuff like that. We may sacrifice one evening for most of the movies while ordering something to eat and lying lazy on the couch or in bed =P

I think we also want to play minigolf, either i just came up with it or we mentioned it on one day as a sidenote. At least i think it may be a cool idea, same for letting you ride a horse, citygirl :D oh and i gotta show you the highland cows or as you would call em *big-mops*
I hope we will have good relative warm weather with nearly zero raining days, so it will be most awesome when we visit different places.

In the second week there will be the biggest event of it all. Our second Amsterdam-Trip! We will go to the Amsterdam Dungeon for sure this time and yes i will hold your hand and we will go to the Live-Porno-Show just for fun =D. Oh yeah and the sex museum of course. I hope we can park outside the city this time though, cause i don't want to pay 50€ for a parking lot again. We may get to eat at the Hadrock Cafe this time or we go to the Sports Cafe again, cause i thought this restaurant was kinda awesome. At night we will sleep in the hostel we found i think its the best deal we can do. i just need to ask around how many friends will stay with us in one room and are willing to share the money then.

We also will go to Belgium, although Merel isn't sure if she really makes a saw-night because there is other stuff going around, but we are still invited to a birthday party there. And we may persuade Merel to still make the saw-night haha.

After two most awesome weeks my school begins and we will have a calmer week i think. On some days when i have cool lessons you may come with me to school and for sports you can join anyways, because its only playing batminton or doing something else there.

After that week we have one last weekend and will have to think about what thing to do as a great ending and then it's time to say goodbye again. But not forever, just until summer. I love you babe and i hope you thought a lot about me on our anniversary :-*

Ending with Zombies

We finally finished the Literatur Movie Filming and probably will get like 5 Minutes of film after 6 times meeting with only filming on 3 places. A lot of work for a little step ahead. Hope at least the movies gives us a good grade in the end...

Memento

Bought the movie. I thought it can't be bad when you have one of the coolest movies you know in the language you're girlfriend understands. When the school thing is over i will look if it has the *watch in order* option i heard about. That would be cool, especially when you saw it so many times in the non-chronological way. I saw the movie while buying the Valentine's Day present for my wölkchen =)

The Way to live with a Bear VI

So last evening we went to the Bahnhof eating something. "That was fun" x). And then we watched Dead Silence in bed. I love that movie, it's a shame i didn't got to see it before! Claire saw it a couple of times before, but now she knows where Billy is and who Donnie Wahlberg is x). And Damn is her dress nice, asked her to wear it for Comix today again yay =D. Today we went to Cologne: First we went to "Körperwelten" (liked it a lot) and then we saw the Dome and she bought a bag, glass, postcards and stuff. Now we are back home and prepare for Comix in 30 minutes i think. x)

The Way to live with a Bear V

Oh so long ago. Last time i wrote about my presents. Hmmm. We slept until we had to go eat breakfast at my mums house. At around 1PM we ate at my uncle's house and in the evening at home. Every meal was kind of filling so it was the day of anti-starvation and obesity lols. After breakfast with my mum and Mop I we had to prepare for the next eating at my uncle's and Mop II's house. After that we took a break to sleep, cause actually the night before we havn't slept a single Minute, which is good to eat much, but bad to be awake while eating. When my sister and her friend were here we talked a lot about singapore and germany and how Mirco could make vacation and stuff. He and my dad were extremely drunk, so it was kind of fun. Expecially when they started talking about prostitues and when my father tried to tell a story in broken english x). After that we showed my sister the new Jesus and we ended the day by watching a very funny movie that is called Little Nicky. But I think the thing about the movie that Claire loves most was Adam Sandler's hair :D. We wanted to go to my other uncle to celebrate Christmas with them, but we slept until now and now it's too late for it, so we go for Plan B which is eating with my father instead. :)

The Way to live with a Bear II

On the Christmas Market wasn't too much to do, because Claire wanted to take a nap until 6 or 7 and we were too late. In the evening we watched the first few hours of the Saw chronological Cut and today we plan to buy the Adapter for the computer and go to another Christmas Market.

The Way to live with a Bear I

So when she arrived, she was 5 hours late to be exact and i had to wait those five hours in the railway station in Düsseldorf. After that the day was nearly finished already, because we were tired like shit, one of the reasons is that someone had to call me 4AM that night. *rolleyes*
Today we were in school watching a movie and playing cards for like one hour, just to build a kind-of-retarded Snowbear :D. After that we cook an Omelette with sausages and toast and she took another nap after that. Now here we stand and probably go to Christmas market now.

"Oh, es ist so anregend dein Hut zu sein"
- Hut (Die Reise ins Labyrinth)
